Krashna’s symphony orchestra consists of around 80 enthusiastic musicians that make classical music at a high skill level. The repertoire is mostly classical pieces but sometimes also modern music gets a turn. Think of the fifth symphony of Shostakovic, Isle of the Dead by Rachmaninoff and the fifth symphony of Mahler. Every year the orchestra works on 2 or 3 projects. The orchestra often has a accompanying role to the choir projects. Examples of pieces done with the choir are the Requiem of Fauré and Carmina Burana by Orff.
