Introduction week

Very soon, the Delft Introduction week (OWee) will start, in which new students are introduced to Delft and the Delft student associations. Of course, Krashna will be represented here! Very soon we will post our full OWee programme here, so you will know where to find us.
While the OWee will mainly be targeted at new Dutch students, there also is an International Introduction Week one week after the OWee. This year, for the first time Krashna will be present here as well - if we have more information on this we will also post it on this website!
If you are already convinced that Krashna could be the place for you, do join our open rehearsals at the start of the new academic year!

After the enormous success of our Sea programme, the chamber music department of Krashna will be playing the final chord of this concert season!
So don't miss the last chamber music concert of the season, this Sunday, 13th of June at the Culture Building, Mekelweg 10 in Delft, with some final fireworks by both our vocal and instrumental players!
The concert will start at 20.15 h and admission is free of charge. More programme details will be published in the agenda item.

Spring Concert Spectacular and Successful!

On 1st of June, 2010, the choir and orchestra of Krashna Musika presented a very special concert in the Oude Kerk in Delft, thematically centered around 'The Sea'. The programme consisted of:

Music Worlds Festival

Musical persons in and around Delft, a special day is approaching for you! On Saturday, 1st of May, the "Music Worlds" festival will take place at the Culture building of Delft University of Technology. From 10 - 18 h, there will be public masterclasses, workshops, small concerts, lectures and more. Would you like to be part of a classical music masterclass with one of our wonderful professional teachers? Or would you be interested in participating in free workshops in djembé or kecak? For more information, see the full news item and the agenda item, which contains descriptions of all the workshops.
On Sunday, 2nd of May, a chamber music concert will take place in which masterclass participants will perform. From 20.15 h, you can listen in room 232 of the Culture building to the musical results that the participants have been able to achieve with all professional tips they got on Saturday.
Krashna Chamber Orchestra plays Prokofiev and Haydn

This Friday, 23rd of April, the result of the Krashna chamber orchestra project (Krashko) can be heard. In the Lutherse Kerk in Delft, you can hear the 44th Symphony by Joseph Haydn and Peter and the Wolf by Prokofiev. More info can be found in the agenda item. Don't miss it!
